FP&A Director
$150-190k plus bonus
Scottsdale, AZ - hybrid schedule
Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client recruit their next FP&A Director. The Director of FP&A will drive monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes to help the organization grow and achieve operational excellence. This role will be a strategic business partner to leadership who will help manage financial planning and reporting processes covering all company expenses to ensure the company hits its financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create impactful, timely, and accurate analysis of financial and business metrics for use in management’s evaluation of results and determination of strategic / business objectives and alternatives
- Drive forecasting and planning processes, collaborating cross-functionally with leaders across the business
- Improve expense efficiency by managing headcount / vendor processes to ensure robust business justifications and drive informed decision-making by leadership
- Enhance visibility of provider incentive program performance by analyzing provider activity trends and producing activity-level forecasts across all markets and product-lines
- Prepare presentations with detailed variance / trend analyses and forecast outlook updates in support of monthly performance updates for leadership / investors and quarterly Board of Directors meetings
- Partner with Data / Accounting / HR teams to streamline data and reporting infrastructure, including implementing new processes and tools to improve timeliness / accuracy of forecasts
- Other adhoc financial analyses to support strategic / business initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related degree7-10+ years of experience in FP&A or related functions, including time spent in a high-performance / fast-paced environmentAdvanced MS Excel skills, high proficiency in other MS Office applications, and ability to learn department / job-specific software systemsAdvanced proficiency with financial statement analysis and forecastingExperience managing headcount and vendor expense processesSuperior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing prioritiesStrong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders and different levels of management
