Senior Lead Data Engineering

Position summary

Responsible for fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Identifies and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary.

Provides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 7+ years of applied experience, including 5+ years leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
• Experience leading teams of data engineers.
• Proficient in SQL, with the ability to design and optimize complex queries and database structures.
• Extensive experience in managing the full lifecycle of data, from collection and storage to analysis and reporting.
• Ability to guide and coach teams to achieve goals aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Deep understanding of NoSQL databases and their strategic applications within the industry.
