Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 20252026 school year in Cairo, GA, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role begins July 15, 2025, and ends May 22, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 32.5 to 35 hours.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert remendations.
Qualifications :
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.Experience working with a K-12 student population preferred; newly certified candidates encouraged to apply.Strong knowledge of assessment tools, psychological evaluation methods, and special education regulations.Excellent munication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain detailed records.Location : Cairo, GA
