Lead the next chapter of lending operations

Step into a pivotal role where technology, compliance, and operational excellence converge. As the VP, Enterprise Loan Servicing & Operations Strategy, you will guide how loans are processed, serviced, and supported across the bank—building the systems, practices, and teams that shape an outstanding customer experience and rock-solid regulatory posture.

What a typical quarter could look like

In your first 90 days, you’ll convene leaders from Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Deposit Operations to align on priorities. You’ll assess the loan servicing platform and core banking ecosystem, chart the roadmap for upgrades and integrations, and define operational metrics to drive automation and scale. Along the way, you’ll strengthen controls across HMDA, Flood, Escrow, and CRA, and take ownership of complex processes like charge-offs, non-accruals, OREO, credit bureau reporting, and year-end close.

What you’ll lead

  • End-to-end leadership of Loan Operations, including processing, servicing, documentation, and regulatory adherence.
  • Development and execution of lending operations strategies aligned to enterprise goals and growth plans.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Commercial and Consumer Lending, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Deposit Operations to deliver a seamless customer journey.
  • Ownership of the loan servicing platform and core systems—overseeing upgrades, integrations, and performance.
  • Enterprise compliance stewardship across lending regulations (HMDA, Flood, Escrow, CRA, and related areas).
  • Coaching and mentoring of departmental leaders; cultivating a high-performance culture anchored in accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Use of operational metrics to drive process redesign, automation, and service optimization across the loan lifecycle.
  • Oversight of charge-offs, non-accruals, OREO, credit bureau reporting, and the year-end close process.
  • Continuous scanning of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging technology to evolve operations.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CRCM, PMP) preferred.
  • 8+ years in loan operations or banking, including 5+ years at a senior leadership level.
  • Hands-on expertise with loan servicing systems, core banking platforms, and digital lending environments.
  • Deep understanding of lending regulations and risk management within a banking context.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, driving change, and scaling complex operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the influence to align cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
  • Analytical strength—able to translate data into insight and action.
  • Preferred qualifications

  • Leadership of digital transformations, system implementations, or core conversions in banking.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full loan lifecycle—from origination through payoff and servicing.
  • A knack for spotting operational gaps and deploying compliant, forward-thinking solutions.
  • High EQ and the ability to lead through ambiguity and change.
