job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMaintains the health, safety and sanitation of the restaurant in accordance to set guidelines Promotes culinary concept in Marketing and Public Relations efforts Maintains a working relationship with tenant partner and assumes an active role in marketing the restaurant concept Bachelors' Degree in Hospitality or Business Administration Three years experience in a high volume complex Food and Beverage or casino environment with at least one year supervisory experience in a gourmet-specialty restaurant In lieu of formal degree, must have two years supervisory experience in a high volume or gourmet themed restaurant Intermediate knowledge in Micros, Stratton Warren, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes Excellent written and oral communication skills Must complete and pass the Core Supervisor Training course Excellent understanding of all beverage service techniques, food preparation and products and cooking techniques, including table side service Thorough understanding of P&L evaluation, sales forecasting, budget costs, utilization and Key Volume Indicator analysis Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and lifting Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for short periods of time Fast paced kitchen environment

The Restaurant Shift Manager assists the Food and Beverage Operations Manager in the day to day operations of the outlet.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to :
- Works with the Food and Beverage Operations Manager to achieve the established P&L guidelines
- Assists in the hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining and scheduling of supervisors and line staff
- Responsible for the requisition and inspection of all products and the maintenance of inventory par amounts
- Assists in the preparation of payroll
