Overview JOB TITLE : Creative Director
POSITION SUMMARY :
We are seeking a Creative Leader to lead Marketing creative in partnership with agencies and product marketers on a short-term project through the end of 2025, with a potential extension based on budget and performance. This role acts as the connecting tissue, representing client-owned brands to agency partners to develop brand-building work that cultivates our brand look and feel. The candidate should push for innovation, have a strong background in Creative Direction (agency or client-side), and be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading cross-media execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES Creative / Hands-on Work
Concept and lead Marketing creative campaigns with agency partners; provide strategic feedback for art or copy
Represent the Meta brand and guide agency toward the project goals, balancing creative excellence with project needs
Develop and inform creative briefs that provide strategic insights and data-driven results to inspire concepts
Collaborate with Creatives, Designers and cross-functional teams to produce standout, strategically-focused global campaigns across multiple media formats while maintaining brand consistency
Partner with Designers, Copywriters, Marketing, Media, Analytics and Program Management to develop scalable design frameworks that optimize creative performance
Drive alignment across internal partners and leadership around core concepts and ideas
Become a trusted partner across the marketing organization (Marketing, Program Management, Product Marketing, Analytics, Sales)
Implement and iterate on best practices for marketing channels across paid and owned media, affiliates, and educate cross-functional teams on these practices
Management / Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns
Guide teams to ensure design frameworks support scalable, data-informed outcomes
Foster alignment among stakeholders and maintain brand integrity across channels
Share and propagate best practices for channel marketing across the organization
QUALIFICATIONS A robust portfolio showcasing relevant work
Technology & product experience required
Sports marketing experience ideal
Experience overseeing and collaborating with agencies and creative teams
Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated environment
Experience working with data & insights in a results-oriented environment
10+ years relevant experience
Skills
Strong communication skills; ability to respond to briefs creatively; present ideas to stakeholders; collaborate and iterate based on feedback
Strategic, multidisciplinary, conceptual, collaborative, analytical
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, independent environment
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Comfortable independently guiding teams, agencies and production partners, with willingness to roll up sleeves when necessary
