The Payroll Client Specialist is responsible for completing all aspects of the daily payroll functions for their clients within the Payroll Department. This position implements and maintains payroll systems procedures and policies for the company as well as building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients. This position is highly dependent on attention to detail and great customer service skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Complete day to day payroll functions, including but not limited to entering data, running payroll, producing applicable reports.
- Reviewing and maintaining accurate payroll records.
- Operating multiple email outlets and ensuring accurate and effective communication.
- Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a high rate of client retention through quality service.
- Work with our partners regarding payroll items and issues.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a quality service.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QULAIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
Qualified candidates will have :
Working knowledge of PEO / ASO payroll software is desirable.Self-Starter and ability to troubleshoot issues.Professional, friendly personality for regular communication with clients.Preferably with prior experience in PEO and / or ASO industry.Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.4+ years of payroll, accounting or finance experience is required.Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software, is a must.Ability to analyze data with particular attention to detail.Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.Strong customer service orientation.Excellent interpersonal skills.Job Type : Full-time
