Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department position at a Level 2 Trauma Center requiring EPIC experience and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting

Level 2 Trauma Center with high acuity patients

Handles an average of 220 patients per day in a very busy and fast-paced environment

Uses EPIC electronic medical record system

Evening shifts from 1 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week

Requests for standard and / or holiday time off will only be approved at client discretion, limited to one major holiday

High acuity environment with rapid patient turnover

Two references must be provided for consideration

Evening shift role with no specified on-call requirement

Requirements

Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of current hospital Emergency Department experience required

At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

EPIC experience required

Completion of a 2-step PPD and current flu vaccination required
