We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team in Beaumnt TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal parts and components using various tools and machinery.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in measurements.
- Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal products.
- Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues during production.
- Conduct machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding.
- Program CNC machines as needed for specific tasks or projects.
- Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques when required.
- Employ precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control of finished products.
- Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the workshop environment.
