Maintenance Technician – Contract-to-Hire

📍  Location :  Westlake, TX

💰  Pay :  $23-25 an hour

We are currently hiring a  Maintenance Technician  to support daily building operations and preventive maintenance at a client site in the  Westlake area . This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in general building maintenance, minor repairs, and a strong safety-first mindset.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for  preventive, corrective, and general maintenance tasks  to support the facility’s infrastructure. Responsibilities include routine assessments, equipment upkeep, and repair work in  HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems . All duties are performed with a commitment to  safety, cleanliness, and efficiency .

Key Responsibilities Building Maintenance

• Perform light fixture maintenance, replace lamps / ballasts, and test emergency lighting systems.
• Change HVAC filters, clean coils, lubricate equipment, replace belts, and conduct minor HVAC system repairs.
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
• Assist senior mechanics and operators with major repairs and equipment servicing.
