Job Description

Job Title : Certified Nurse Aide

Profession : Nursing

Shift : Day, Evening

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required

License : Must be licensed in New Hampshire

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Prior long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience

Availability to work every other weekend and possible holidays

Description :

Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, toileting, and peri care.

Assists with meals and feeding as needed.

Takes patients to activities and appointments.

Supports residents with their bedtime routines.

Conducts hourly rounding (1-2 times per hour).

Occasional management of IV antibiotics and potential PICC line management.

Required to manage respiratory treatments and equipment.

No respiratory therapist on-site.

Interdisciplinary team includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, case managers, social workers, and dieticians.

No telemetry monitors available.

Supervisors available on every shift for support.

Emergency physician availability is during on-call hours as needed.

Medication dispensing system utilizes bubble packs for prescriptions.

Dress code includes professional scrubs with guidelines for jewelry and hair.

May float between units as necessary.

Department-specific orientation provided with a preceptor.
