Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern to join our Minneapolis or Muscatine office.

What You Will Be Doing :

• Student will develop an understanding of electrical power and lighting related to a variety of industrial buildings and site infrastructure projects.
• Responsibilities and skills to be developed include : Understanding engineering drawings and specifications, performing and checking engineering calculations, coordinating information with vendors, performing field site visits, back checking drawings, gaining familiarity with computer software, and general clerk duties.
• You may be responsible for specific design tasks under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Design tasks may include electrical system modeling, lighting and power calculations, electrical lighting and power plans, panelboard and equipment schedules, equipment wiring drawings and schematics, or similar.
• You will be responsible for working independently on assigned tasks and seeking out experienced engineers for answering questions.
