Lathe Machinist : Montgomery, Illinois

Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is looking for motivated individuals to join their growing team as Lathe Machinists . This is a full-time, 1st shift opportunity where you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities of the Lathe Machinist :

• Set up and operate lathe machines for precision machining.
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions to meet specifications.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure proper operation.

Lathe Machinist Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Lathe Machinist : Starting at $23 / hour.

Lathe Machinist Benefits :

Type : 1st Shift, Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Sunday from 6am– 2 : 30pm.
