Job Title : After School Assistant

Location : In-person at 2840 Boudinot Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45248

Job Type : Part Time,10-15 hours a week, Monday - Friday starting at 6 : 30am

Pay : $15-17 / hour with a $300 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary :

The After School Assistant supports the daily operations of the After School Program by engaging directly with children to foster their academic, social, and emotional development. Under the guidance of the School Age Supervisor, the Assistant helps implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensures a safe and nurturing environment, and builds positive relationships with children, families, and team members. This role plays a key part in maintaining the quality and consistency of programming while aligning with agency values and licensing standards.

Qualifications :

• This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalency, an associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Interest and experience in working with children is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment :

Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit, and bodily fluids.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to : Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 pounds. Must be capable of sustained exertion and be able to participate in the physical restraint techniques and exercises required to ensure safety of clients at all times.
