Licensed Practical Nurse

Description

We are currently seeking one full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for our clinic! In this role, you would work with our Psychiatry department and medication providers, return calls to patients regarding side effects of medications, refill medication to area pharmacies, and call insurance companies for verification on medications, completing forms and any necessary authorizations for medications.

Other duties include the following :

• Taking calls for lab results
• Triages incoming lab results, medical reports, refill requests, etc. to MD / CNS / PA in a timely fashion to completion
• Follows policies and procedures of Nystrom and Associates, Ltd. (NAL)
• Works under the management direction of the Office Manager and daily clinical direction of medical providers and the Medical Director
• Maintains legible and organized patient records in accordance with policy of NAL and requirements of the State of Iowa
