An Orthopedic Spine Physician is needed at Vitruvian Health Care System to enhance spinal care services within a well-established orthopedic practice. The role requires a board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training and superb procedural skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multi-specialty clinic environment. This position offers competitive compensation, including signing and relocation bonuses, along with growth opportunities within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Vitruvian Health Care System (formerly known as Hamilton Health Care System) and Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) are recruiting an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon for Associates in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (AOSM) .

AOSM is looking for an additional orthopedic spine surgeon to assist the practice and the local hospital better meet the spinal care needs of the community. AOSM is a seven orthopedic practice with four midlevel providers. All doctors within the practice have advanced training at prestigious institutions, so patient care is up-to-date, down-to-earth and close to home!

Qualified candidates :

  • / - BC / BE in
  • Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons in foot and ankle, spine, total joint reconstruction, arthroscopy and sports medicine
  • Superb procedural skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care

Position Highlights :

  • Practice Overview :

  • Clinic details e.g. Multi-specialty clinic including Pulmonary, ID, Rheumatology
  • Monday-Thursday, 8-5 and Friday 8-12
  • Procedures : e.g. Bronchoscopy; EBUS
  • Department Overview :

  • Onsite physical therapy staffed with 3 full time Physical therapists and 3 full time physical therapy assistants
  • New, State-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center
  • New, Orthopedic walk-in clinic
  • State-of-the-art facilities and techniques
  • Onsite MRI
  • DR X-ray at all locations
  • Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
