Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end close. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
  • 36 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting and / or corporate accounting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP / accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    • $80,000 - $95,000 a year
