Actively seeking entry level engineers. These roles focus on Distribution projects and provide opportunities for training under advanced level Distribution Engineers. The position involves performing engineering calculations such as structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices. It also includes preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, developing a Bill of Materials (BOM), and estimating costs. The role involves design development and coordination, with occasional fieldwork required after several months on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations including structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices.
  • Prepare forestry trimming requests and facilitate permit and Right-of-Way acquisition.
  • Develop a Bill of Materials (BOM) and estimate project costs.
  • Focus primarily on design development and coordination.
  • Engage in occasional fieldwork after several months on the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-1 years experience (part time, internship experience applies)
  • CAD Design Experience (AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, MicroStation, Inventor, MATLAB, .
  • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.32 - $29.32 / hr.
