Duties :

Handle a dynamic caseload of criminal defense matters from intake through resolution

Develop and execute defense strategies tailored to each client's case

Conduct legal research, draft motions, and argue court hearings as needed

Maintain proactive and responsive communication with clients throughout their case

Appear in court regularly to advocate on behalf of clients

Collaborate with legal support teams to ensure timely case progression

Requirements :

Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

Prior experience in criminal defense is preferred

Willingness to work with a broad range of clients facing various criminal charges

Interest in courtroom litigation and negotiation

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications :

Admission to the State Bar of Texas
