Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the department's direction, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining trusted client relationships-all within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion, including full design of systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Prepare and oversee calculations, models, specifications, and construction documents throughout all phases of design and construction.
• Conduct field visits and site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure design integrity, code compliance, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines-including architectural and civil, to develop coordinated, buildable solutions.
• Participate in business development efforts, including proposal writing, fee estimates, and client presentations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for structural clients, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Manage departmental resources, project schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop structural engineering staff to support firm growth and uphold design excellence.
