Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast-paced and welcoming work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
  • Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
  • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
  • Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
  • Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policies and environmental guidelines.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
  • Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
  • Type I / Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass MVR
  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Compensation

  • Salary range : $56,160 - $106,080
  • Sign-on bonus (select locations)
  • Individual compensation packages based on candidate skill set, experience, and other job-related factors
