Housekeeping - 2nd Shift

Cleaning : Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to remove dust, dirt, and spills; clean and sanitize restrooms, eating areas, and other designated zones.

Waste Management : Empty trash bins, remove waste materials, and ensure correct disposal and segregation of waste.

Surface Cleaning : Wipe down and dust shelves, racks, workstations, windows, and other surfaces.

Safety : Monitor for safety hazards, ensure walkways are clear of obstructions and hazards like cords, and use safety signage when necessary.

Organization : Keep cleaning stores and equipment organized and stored safely.

Equipment Operation : Operate industrial cleaning machinery like floor scrubbers and use appropriate safety procedures.

Supply Management : Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and create lists of needed products.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Physical Stamina : Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.

Attention to Detail : Focus on details to maintain high standards of cleanliness and identify potential hazards.

Independence : Ability to work effectively and proactively with little or no supervision.

Safety Consciousness : Understanding safety protocols and the ability to follow them, especially when handling chemicals.

Experience : Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is often preferred, along with experience with cleaning products and equipment.

Flexibility : Willingness to work additional hours to cover holidays or sickness within the team.
