Summary :
This role drives continuous quality improvement by gathering and analyzing data, maintaining standards, proposing solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders, from inspectors to high-level management.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to, and fully support, company plant production by ensuring all supplier parts meet engineering requirements
- Responsible for advanced product quality planning, and successful launch of supply base components
- Train operators when any changes occur
- Results for this position will be measured by internal customer satisfaction and supplier metrics
- Drive and support quality improvement efforts internally and externally
- Ensure that internal needs for Control Systems are established, communicated and met in a timely and functional manner at the supply base
- Optimize Process Capability on critical characteristics at the supply base through effective application of statistical analysis techniques and Problem-Solving.
- Proactively work with suppliers to minimize and / or eliminate launch and ongoing quality / performance issues
- Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position
- Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards :

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experienceLSS Green belt preferredExperience :
3 to 6+ years of experience in a quality engineer or related roleExperience with complete core documents, including control plans and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) helpfulExperience with statistical process control (SPC)Experience with 4M change process (preferred)Experience and knowledge of Drawing, SOP, Control plan, CTQ, SPCExperience with Global Plant and Supplier Development a plusSkills :
