Key Responsibilities for  CMM Programmer / Operator

• CMM Programming & Operation : Program and operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS (or similar software) to inspect CNC-machined parts and ensure they meet stringent aerospace and defense standards.
• Quality Control : Conduct in-process and final inspections, adhering to GD&T specifications and ASME 14.5 / Y standards.
• First Article Test Reports : Prepare and review FATRs to ensure first-run parts align with customer requirements.
• Blueprint Mastery : Read and interpret complex engineering drawings with precision and expertise.
• Problem Solving : Anticipate and address potential inspection or programming issues to maintain smooth production workflows.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with machinists, operators, and quality inspectors to uphold product quality and resolve challenges efficiently.
• Process Documentation : Maintain thorough and accurate records of inspections, calibrations, and test results to comply with internal and customer standards.
• Continuous Improvement : Suggest and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and quality.
