- Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver exceptional care for your assigned patients.\n
- Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families as per your level of practice.\n
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.\n
- Document comprehensive patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care administered.\n
- Assess and address the learning needs of patients and families, providing education and resources as needed.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills : \n
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.\n\nExperience : \n
- Approximately 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications : \n
- BLS certification is required.\n
- ACLS certification is required.\n
- Current RN License in the state or compact state of employment is required.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n
- BLS certification is mandatory.\n

- Current RN License in the state or compact state of employment is mandatory.\n\nCredential Grace Periods : \n\nIf additional credentials are necessary based on the Position Requirements, a grace period for obtaining the certification will apply, based on your experience level.\n
- Individuals with at least one year of acute care clinical experience in a similar service line within the past three years are classified as Experienced Associates.\n
- Those without at least one year of full-time acute care clinical experience in the same service line within the past three years are classified as New to the Specialty Experienced Associates.\n\nCredential Grace Periods for Experienced Associates : \n
- BLS : No grace period. AHA or Red Cross accepted at time of hire.\n
- ACLS : 30 days from hire date.\n
- PALS : 30 days from hire date.\n
- TNCC : 60 days from hire date.\n
- TCAR : 60 days from hire date.\n
- NRP : 30 days from hire date.\n
- AWHONN INTERMEDIATE FHM : 30 days from hire date.\n
- STABLE : 30 days from hire date.\n\nWork Schedule : \n\n8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday.\n\nWork Type : \n\nPer Diem as needed.
