End Date : March 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (AM); every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,840 - $1,980

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois RN license required

At least 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (two attempts permitted)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical / Surgical unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
