Responsibilities Position is in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital setting Day shift with four 10-hour shifts, typically from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM Performs coronary and peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures as well as permanent pacemaker insertions Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases No floating within the facility but may be required to float to affiliate hospitals nearby Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required On-call and weekend work are required 30-hour orientation provided First-time travelers are welcome to apply All RTO must be approved at the time of submission Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff Free parking is available on the first day; assigned parking will be given during orientation Mandatory training modules to be completed pre-start and annually Return staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler A 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates, who are accepted Facility can help with housing search if needed Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required ARRT and Fluoro Permit required at time of consideration (pending Fluoro Permit applications may be considered if already submitted) RCIS alone is not accepted; ARRT or Fluoro required Two supervisory references from comparable settings covering one year within the last three years are required Experience with Epic EMR is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626114.
