Job Description

We are currently hiring 1st Shift Assembly Leadperson , starting at $21.00 / hour. Hours for 1st Shift are Monday - Thursday, 6 : 15 am - 4 : 45 pm, with opportunities for overtime pay.

Summary : Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, this position is a tremendous opportunity to help support the Supervisor and drive production while managing safety, quality, productivity, and cost. This position will set up the right individual with the opportunity to work with a worldwide, growing, private company that provides job diversity and an upward career path.

Pay Range : $21-$24 / hr

First Shift (6 : 15 am to 4 : 45 pm - Monday through Thursday - most Fridays off)

Job Specifications

(Key results expected from this position in the first 6-12 months)

• Responsible for the daily activities required to meet the production schedule
• Make sure proper staffing is in place to support the line.
• Ensure adequate training is administered to the new employees.
• Meet all safety, quality, productivity, and MRO goals for the area.
• Properly fill out daily hour-by-hour reports, repair logs, checklists, etc.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members at all levels in the organization
• Responsible for monitoring repairs and scrap as well as providing corrective actions to the supervisor
• Must be able to do basic math
• Must be able to stand and walk for 10 hours per day and lift up to 40 lbs
