Job Overview

The LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Program Supervisor is part of the LP1 Environmental compliance team, providing technical leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining LDAR programs. This role requires collaboration, creativity, and resilience to ensure environmental compliance and minimize emissions from industrial facilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of LDAR technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure compliance and high standards.
  • Support site teams as a key stakeholder, providing input on LDAR-related design, construction, startup, and operational plans.
  • Develop and implement LDAR programs, procedures, tools, and management systems, including staff training and onboarding.
  • Serve as a resource for operational areas to understand regulatory requirements.
  • Keep the site updated on new or revised regulations and EPA standards.
  • Provide on-call support during weekends and outside normal hours.

Additional Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local LDAR regulations through program implementation and maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records of LDAR activities, monitoring data, repair logs, and compliance reports.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce emissions via process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and inspections.
  • Act as secondary contact with regulatory agencies regarding LDAR issues.
  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or environmental compliance.
  • Experience in applying environmental regulations and developing LDAR programs.
  • Experience working with HSE regulatory agencies.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's or associate degree in environmental or chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and systematic working skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of LDAR programs and environmental regulations.

    Compensation for this position ranges from $35.33 - $58.89 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and location. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses, comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), pension, medical / dental / vision, flexible spending, life insurance, paid leave, and well-being programs.
