Job Summary & Description :

Empowered Services seeks tobuild a team of responsible, caring, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Portland area.Yourgoal will be to develop meaningful relationships that build confidence & independence and passionately help those with intellectual & developmental disabilities to live a more fulfilled and happy life.

Working oneon one with each customer you serve, you willassess theirneeds, work towards meeting desired outcomes, and tend to them accordingly with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs are our customers helpers, mentors, and advocates.

363 : Were looking for a reliable, upbeat Direct Support Provider (DSP) in the Gresham area to support a happy, minimally verbal child with autism who lights up every room with her smile and infectious personality. She loves singing, dancing, Moana , and playing outside, and she thrives when engaged with a playful, interactive caregiver.

Schedule : Sundays 7 : 45 AM5 / 6 PM (flexible), occasional Wednesdays.

In this role, youll assist with daily hygiene, encourage fine motor skills, and join her for community outings and fun activities. Understanding autism and connecting with her unique communication and sensory needs is essential. Qualifications & Requirements :

• Experience with the I / DD community is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check. -
• Not all charges will warrant a disqualification.
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid drivers license, with a good driving record.
• Musthave your own reliable vehicle, with full coverage auto insurance.
• Must be comfortable providing respectful support with personal care, including bathroom and hygiene.
