The Opportunity

Must live 50 miles away from Kingston

Pay is between 2700.00-2900.00 weekly

Travel CT Scan Tech

Start : ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Combination of Days / Evenings, 4x10hr shifts, (Day shift : 8a-6 : 30p / Evening shift : 10a-8 : 30p)

EOW Evening shift required

1.5+ years experience required

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences required

ARRT, CT certification required

BLS, CPR required

Equipment used :

GE 16 slice Brightspeed in the ER

GE 64 slice VCT in main department, Also in main department : GE 16 slice Optima 540

Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and radiological procedures with precision and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during radiological procedures.

Stay updated with the latest radiology techniques and technologies.

Provide excellent patient care and address patient concerns during procedures.

Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Document and report findings accurately in patient records.

Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.

Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and analyze scan results.

Assist in developing and implementing radiology protocols and procedures.

Participate in team meetings to discuss case studies and improve practices.

Monitor and manage inventory of radiology supplies and materials.

Experience / Qualifications

Perform accurate CT scans and radiological procedures with precision.
