• BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery - fellowship encouraged, but not required
• Employed position - 180-bed teaching hospital Level III Trauma Center
• The surgeon would have access to an OR for urgent and "cold trauma' cases in a room reserved for emergent surgery. There would also be time allotted for elective trauma reconstructive practice. There are separate call schedules for Spine and Hand. The practice covers one centrally located ER.
• Joining a group of Orthopedic Surgeons and APs
• The General Ortho call is at 1 : 12 and will have support from an Orthopedic Hospitalist
• Salary can be between 588K to 690K with a sign-on of 100K
