job_description.job_card.job_description32 hours per week Primarily daytime hours with flexibility based on patient care and group session needs Provide spiritual care to patients, families, and staff across the main hospital campus and Home Health / Hospice settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered support Organize and assist with a comprehensive spiritual care program, with emphasis on hospice patients Offer counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance to individuals of diverse faiths and backgrounds Bachelor’s degree in Divinity, Theology, Religious Studies, or related field Minimum 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required; 4 units preferred 2 years of chaplaincy or spiritual counseling experience Ordination / endorsement from a recognized denomination or faith group Chaplain certification preferred Located in Central Nebraska, combining small-town charm with modern amenities Situated along the Platte River with excellent parks and recreational activities Home to a state-of-the-art sports complex and wellness center Friendly, welcoming community with a low cost of living and a relaxed pace of life
