The primary objective of this role is to provide prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care, and rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and other active individuals. The goal is to ensure safe return to activity while maintaining professional development and responsibility within the field of athletic training.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess and manage sports-related injuries and conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and return to function.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in athletic training.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need :
Graduation from an accredited athletic training program or related field.
State licensure or eligibility as an Athletic Trainer.
No prior experience is required, but some exposure to athletic training principles and techniques would be beneficial.
Certification through the Board of Certification, Inc., Professional Rescuer CPR, or its equivalent.
Ability to work effectively in clinical and / or outreach settings, adapting to diverse situations and requirements.
