Join GEICO as a Lead AI UX / UI Designer. This hybrid role requires on‑site presence 2–3 days a week in Palo Alto, CA or Manhattan, NYC.

Base Pay Range

$136,325 – $212,175 per year

Overview

GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, results‑oriented Lead AI UX / UI Designer. The ideal candidate will design experiences that responsibly incorporate generative AI, collaborate across business owners, engineers, data scientists and product managers, and mentor a multi‑disciplinary design team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to uncover customer and business needs.
• Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve the product experience.
• Leverage knowledge of ML, AI and generative AI to establish scalable frameworks that advance UX and UI design.
• Advocate for a responsible and ethical approach to AI in products and services.
• Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction on product prioritization and support early product definition.
• Advocate for the customer through human‑centered design methods, including discovery, research and user testing.
• Facilitate and participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders to align business needs.
• Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps and user interface specifications.
• Deliver design assets for acceptance, development and delivery to market in partnership with engineering.
• Teach, mentor and guide designers.
