CNA or NA Day Shift 7Am to 3Pm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our team for the Day Shift, from 7 AM to 3 PM. In this role, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality care to our patients / residents. Your dedication to patient care and teamwork will contribute significantly to the well-being and comfort of those we serve.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Assist patients / residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
• Help with mobility and transportation of patients / residents to and from different areas within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients / residents, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist nurses and other healthcare team members with medical procedures and patient care plans as directed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients / residents, encouraging their participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients / residents, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and needs.
• Document patient / resident observations and care provided in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Attend training and staff meetings as required, maintaining compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA or NA training program.
• Current certification as a nursing assistant in accordance with state regulations.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and interact compassionately with patients / residents.
• Ability to follow instructions, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift and move patients / residents in a safe manner.
