Your mission : Make an impact

Reporting directly to our CTO, the Backend Services Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the heart of TradingView's technology. You'll be responsible for driving the efficiency, scalability, and security of our high-load, distributed systems—powering everything from core product features to critical infrastructure services and databases across the company.

How you'll drive success

• Architecture Design : Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend architectures that align with our business needs.
• Technology Selection : Evaluate and recommend the most suitable backend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Specification Review : Analyze, refine, and approve specifications and technical requirements for service development across teams.
• System Integration : Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration between backend systems, frontend components, databases, third-party services, and APIs.
• Scalability, Performance & Reliability : Design systems that can handle high traffic loads while ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through profiling, tuning, and optimization. Guarantee high availability where required.
• Code Quality & Standards : Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain high code quality and readability.
• Documentation : Ensure comprehensive technical documentation of internal systems, including architectural diagrams, API specifications, data storage descriptions, and deployment procedures.
• Problem Solving : Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
