Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift Med / Surg Telemetry position requiring an active Oregon license and strong telemetry skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
  • Cares for acutely ill adult patients and post-surgical cases including emergent and elective surgeries
  • Telemetry monitoring for patients requiring stable cardiac observation
  • Night shift schedule (1900-0730) with rotating weekends
  • 13-week assignment
  • Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is encouraged and supported
  • Works collaboratively with registered nurses and nurse assistants within the unit
  • Facility may refuse or terminate professionals for cause at its discretion

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience
  • Healthcare Provider level BLS (BCLS) certification required
  • Current AHA ACLS certification required
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring required
  • Orthopedic and bariatric experience preferred
