Role Summary
We are seeking a
Facilities & Operations Coordinator
to ensure the smooth, day-to-day running of our New York store and workshop. This role is essential in maintaining the physical environment to the highest standards, supporting internal teams, and ensuring operational efficiency.
While not directly responsible for managing external suppliers, you will act as the daily liaison with vendors (e.g., cleaning services, maintenance providers), coordinate facility needs, and ensure everything from toiletries to tools are in place and functioning.
This is a hands-on, logistics-focused role ideal for someone with a background in
facilities, building operations, or security
, who takes pride in making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Operations Coordination
Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the premises are clean, presentable, and fully stocked (e.g., soap, towels, water, glassware, toilet paper).
Open and secure the building, coordinating closely with security.
Coordinate day-to-day activities with suppliers (cleaners, maintenance contractors) to ensure timely service and delivery.
Check and report on the condition of display areas, ensuring all surfaces and materials are clean and in good order.
Ensure coffee machines, catering supplies, and workshop / staff support areas are fully operational and adequately stocked.
Report and follow up on maintenance needs (e.g., plumbing, lighting, small repairs).
Support internal logistics, including transferring items between workshop and store.
Monitor consumables and place restocking requests as needed.
Oversee deliveries and support general back-of-house organization.
Internal & Client-Facing Support
Assist with internal errands, including PR drop-offs, client loan deliveries, or urgent runs when needed.
Provide occasional support during in-store events or appointments, without holding a primary client-facing role.
Liaise with internal teams to support seamless store and workshop operations.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in facilities, operations, or security-based roles — ideally in retail, hospitality, or luxury environments.
A proactive, practical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working autonomously, multitasking, and troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues.
Discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
