- Candidates will be working with the ages of 6 weeks old to 12 years old.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of work experience in a daycare center.
THESE ARE PERMANENT POSITIONS WITH FULL-TIME WORK HOURSThe available shifts for these positions would be 7 :30 am - 4 : 30 pm and 9 : 30 am - 6 : 30 pm.Please read the qualifications below : - Candidate will be floating from classrooms to provide coverage when a teacher is absent or has planned vacation days. - Candidate will also assist the classrooms that only have 1 teacher. - Candidate should have experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. -Candidate will be fully trained in all 7 classrooms. - Candidate should have experience nurturing children and excellent communication skills with parents. -Candidate must be able to interact with different age groups. -Candidate must be able to change diapers and potty train. - Candidate must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults. - Candidate must be able to adapt to change. - Candidate must be able to meet DCFS requirements. - Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.DCFS REQUIRED TRAINING :
Mandated Reporter, SIDS, Shaken Baby, Trauma Informed Care, Child Development, Health and Safety Basics & Food Handler. -Floater Teacher must have at least 33 college credit hours with six credits (2 classes) in early childhood education or child development.Center Programs through the state of Illinois :
