Illinois Legislative Representative

A company is looking for a State Legislative Representative for the Midwest Regional Office.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement legislative and administrative advocacy strategies

Educate and lobby state legislature and executive agencies on priority environmental issues

Build and maintain coalitions and partnerships to support advocacy efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; relevant advanced degree preferred

Minimum five years' experience in legislative service, lobbying, or government relations preferred

Knowledge of the state's legislative process and political landscape

Experience in translating priorities into legislative language and lobbying strategies

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
