The Division of Otolaryngology , part of the Department of Surgery , is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric ENT care, education, and research. Our team includes :
Each year, we provide care for approximately 20,000 clinical visits and perform over 5,000 surgical cases . The division hosts a Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship and provides training for rotating otolaryngology residents from the University of Kansas (PGY 1-5) . Children’s Mercy is also a verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Program and Level I Children’s Surgery Program , accredited by the American College of Surgeons .
