WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm , offering you a consistent schedule with evenings and weekends free.

A typical day as a Facilities Maintenance Technician will begin with you reviewing a detailed checklist to ensure that all safety requirements are met. As the morning progresses, you will walk the facility to assess the aesthetics of the space and identify anything that requires attention. If a problem arises, you will roll up your sleeves and take care of it right away. These can include tasks such as small repairs like changing ballast and light bulbs, cleaning hair traps, clogged plumbing in the bathroom, touch-up painting and light maintenance items to keep the school in good shape.

You will also spend part of your day coordinating with outside contractors such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical professionals for bigger projects. In addition, you will manage inventory, receiving supplies from vendors, and storing them properly for efficient access. You will ensure that our school remains safe, functional, and inviting for students and staff. Develop your skills while supporting a space where future beauty professionals thrive!
