Job Title : Aerospace Assembler (First Shift)

Job Description

We are looking for an Aerospace Assembler to join our team, working on the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components. The role is based on-site at a major aerospace facility near Sky Harbor Airport. You will use blueprints, standard operating procedures, and various tools to assemble parts and complete electric bond checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and standard operating procedures to assemble components.
• Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque equipment to assemble parts.
• Complete electric bond checks and ensure quality verification through torque settings and dimensional measurements.
• Understand and follow Honeywell specifications for assembly.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Work Environment

The position is based in an aerospace manufacturing environment located near Sky Harbor Airport. The team-oriented culture promotes a tight-knit and collaborative atmosphere, adhering to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM, with the requirement to train during the day for a few weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr.
