Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed for a contracted school year position in the Medina, Ohio area, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Cleveland. Multiple openings are available, with a priority focus on middle school intervention specialists. Opportunities exist in both self-contained and inclusion classroom settings.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific learning needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction to children with disabilities in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and support inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse educational requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and municate regularly with stakeholders regarding student development.
Qualifications :
