Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care and teaching hospital with a Level III Trauma Center Assigned to the Interventional Radiology unit handling diverse IR cases Adult patient population 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Every other weekend required On-call not required May float within the department or to sister campuses as needed Uses Epic EMR system Scrubs are provided by the facility Position accepts first-time travelers Pre-employment modules (4-10 hours) must be completed before start Must list all requested time off at application; RTO and holiday requests are subject to manager discretion System allows only one contract extension for this assignment All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the department Travelers may only be on assignment for up to two contracts before requiring a six-month break Candidate may be floated to sister campuses depending on operational needs Background and license issues within the last year are not permitted Requirements Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certification required Must be able to pass an EKG exam prior to start State or compact licensure required; license must be active at time of submission Epic EMR experience required Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible Ability to float within clinical scope as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608884.
