We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and help expand our autonomous haulage systems. You will be working on cutting-edge technology that is transforming the mining and heavy equipment industries, designing robust hardware solutions for some of the most challenging environments on Earth.
Key Responsibilities
- Heavy Equipment Interface Analysis & Documentation
Analyze and document CAN bus, J1939, direct signaling, and vehicle-specific communication protocols on heavy equipment
Create comprehensive technical documentation for electrical interfaces and vehicle control systemsDocument electrical schematics, pinouts, and signal specifications for integration pointsAdvanced PCB DesignDesign multi-layer motherboards for compute units handling real-time control systems
Implement high-speed differential signaling for camera interfaces, GNSS, and LiDAR signalingDesign mixed-signal circuits combining power electronics with sensitive sensor processingAdhere to high standards for signal robustness and DFAHardware Testing & DocumentationDocument testing requirements for environmental durability and system reliability of hardware components
Design and build hardware test apparatus for validation and troubleshootingSupport quality assurance processes and technical documentation standardsIntegration & Deployment SupportSupport field installations and troubleshoot hardware issues at customer sites
Work closely with software and mechanical teams to optimize system integrationCollaborate with team members to develop tight system interfaces in a rapid iteration environmentWhat We're Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldStrong PCB design experience with multi-layer boards and high-speed signalingExperience with embedded systems and real-time control applicationsFamiliarity with common communication protocolsHands-on experience with hardware testing and validationAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWillingness to travel occasionally for field deploymentsWhat We Offer
