SUMMARY
Treasury Management is central to the future growth and development of Monterey County Bank (Bank). The primary role of the Treasury Management Lead is to drive the growth of the treasury management services and client experience. This position is also responsible for championing innovative approaches and developing efficient, effective processes to minimize operational burdens and reduce technological waste.
This position serves as a key business partner to various units across the Bank and client services. The focus of this role is to collaborate closely with clients either existing or prospective, to demonstrate, implement, and maintain all treasury management services. This position is crucial for identifying client needs and offering the best possible solutions.
Assures compliance with all MCB’s policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for providing treasury product sales demonstration, technical and financial analysis to customers, prospects and internal relationship managers by performing the following duties :

The position is responsible for the supervision of zero employees.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position includes driving a Bank or personal owned vehicle approximately less than 5% of the time which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
The incumbent while performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all the following : telephone, cellular telephone, copy and fax machines, calculator, check protector, scanner and image systems, scanning equipment, encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer and related printers, or other equipment as directed.

Requirements : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 10 years of banking experience and 5 years of treasury management experience preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
