ABOUT THE ROLE : Front Desk Medical Receptionist
Were seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a healthcare setting , values customer service , and enjoys supporting a clinical team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Warmly greet and check in patientsCollect and input patient information into our cloud-based EMR systemAssist with sending and collecting digital intake formsSchedule and confirm appointments via phone, text, or emailAnswer phones and manage communication with patients in a timely, professional mannerVerify insurance coverage and manage pre-authorizations, referrals, and clinical reviewsProcess payments for co-pays, coinsurance, and uninsured visitsCoordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flowAssist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office spaceOpen and close the office as neededQualifications :
High school diploma or GED required1+ years of experience in medical reception or administration (preferred)Experience with electronic health record systems (Genesis a plus)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedAble to multitask and prioritize in a busy environmentFluency in English required; additional languages a plusWhat You Bring :
