ITM14 - Eligibility Reporting

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.

This position functions as a first line manager in a complex work area. It supervises the activities of Information Technology staff, both full-time employees and contracts, that are involved in the development of highly complex and sensitive computer applications in a volatile environment. The Reporting Unit 1, Eligibility team is responsible for all aspects of requirements definition, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, and Business Intelligence (BI) development in the context of MDHHS program data. The Reporting Team 1, Eligibility team has responsibility for analysis and reporting on program areas including, but not limited to, Family Independence Program (FIP), Refugee Cash Assistance, State Disability Assistance (SDA), Food Assistance Program (FAP), Healthy Michigan Program and Medicaid, State Emergency Relief (SER), and Child Development and Care (CDC). The position interacts with and leads the team in providing information and solutions to MDHHS Office of Inspector General, Compliance Division, Accounting, Budget, Policy, CEPI, MDE, LARA, State Budget Office, Legislature, Media, and Administrative and Court Hearings. It is also the responsibility of this position to ensure projects are clearly defined, develop the structural framework in which the team designs and implements systems, and select and train staff.

IT Bonus

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500. Up to $1,750 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Position Location / Remote Office : The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or acombination of the following : computer science, data processing, computer information systems, datacommunications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, ITproject management or mathematics.

Experience

Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure,Programmer / Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11 or one year equivalent to an Information TechnologyInfrastructure, Programmer / Analyst or IT Project Coordinator 12.Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology

Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience.
